CEO KrisShop

Chris was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KrisShop in 2018, providing overall strategic direction and overseeing all business units to lead and transform the company to stay ahead in the competitive travel retail industry. Prior to joining KrisShop, Chris worked in Singapore Airlines for 17 years, where he gained a veritable wealth of knowledge and experience in the aviation industry. Chris started out as the Purchasing Executive in the Commercial Supplies Department in 2001, and had stints at the Internal Audit and Network Revenue Management departments before being appointed as the Staff Assistant to Chairman and CEO in the Management Office in 2007. While working in Singapore Airlines, Chris has accumulated his international experience by working across the globe, in Indonesia, Australia, Benelux, and China, where he served as a manager in these different countries. He was responsible for leading sales and marketing activities and forging partnerships with key stakeholders. Having developed an acute sense of global awareness in evolving business environments, Chris returned to Singapore to head the Merchandising Department in 2017. Chris’ passion and dedication for KrisShop is widely known, as he often (and humorously) identifies himself as Chris, the ‘Shopkeeper’ of KrisShop, using a wordplay on his name.
